Our Beliefs

The Bible

The Bible is God’s Word and declares His design and plan for mankind. It was written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and is without error.

2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21

The Trinity

There is only one true God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19, Luke 1:35, John 14:16-17, 2 Corinthians 13:14

The Son

As God’s son, Jesus was both human and divine. He is the only pathway to salvation and defeated death, so that we can have life.

Matthew 1:23, Hebrews 7:26, Acts 2:22, 1 Corinthians 15:3

Every person can have a restored relationship with God through salvation. Salvation occurs when someone places their faith in Jesus Christ and His resurrection as payment for their sin.

Luke 24:47, John 3:3, Romans 10:13-15, Ephesians 2:8

The Holy Spirit

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service.

Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, Acts 8:12-17, Acts 10:44-46

Mankind will exist eternally either with God through salvation or separated from God by sin. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally with Him is Heaven. Jesus will return one day and take all believers into God’s presence.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Romans 8:23, Titus 2:13, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

The Church

The Church is a community of believers that has a mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. The Church gathers together to glorify God and fulfill His purpose.

Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-16, 1 Corinthians 12:13
